East Kimberley data service

Binarri-binyja yarrawoo (‘BBY’) is committed to supporting Aboriginal-led development and policy reform through building a useful bank of up-to-date and relevant data, at the most local level.

We recognise that one of the most important uses of data in our work is giving Aboriginal people the power to tell our own story and advocate for change.

BBY’s Data Service provides access to population level data sets and statistics, national and local research reports, service and system mapping, local qualitative data and thematic data packs to support Aboriginal development in the East Kimberley.

Our Data Service is based on the following best practice principles:

            - Data quality and accurate use

            - Indigenous data governance

-Strengths based data

BBY Member Organisations receive priority for use of the Data Service. Non-members are welcome to submit requests to use the Data Service.

Please note data caveats apply, which will be discussed on receipt of each User request. Where data is not available, BBY may assist in connecting the User with the appropriate data source. All requests to access the Data Service are subject to the Data Service Terms and Conditions. By registering as a User, Users confirm that they have read, understood and agree to the Data Service Terms and Conditions. BBY reserves the right to amend the Data Service Terms and Conditions and will notify Users of any amendments.
